Chipotle is none too thrilled with Frank Ocean after he backed out of a deal to write a song for their upcoming advertising campaign. To put it mildly, the feeling is mutual. The 26-singer/songwriter reneged on the endorsement, for which he received a $212,500 advance, after learning the accompanying video featured the Chipotle logo at the end. The burrito chain then sued the singer/singer for the money they fronted him. Ocean gave his fans a sneak peak of the check via Tumblr. On it he penned the endearing personalized note, “F*ck off.” Chipotle has since issued a stating saying that despite the Tumblr post, they have not yet received any compensation from Ocean as of yet. His slot in the commercial was replaced by Fiona Apple. Leave a Reply Cancel Reply Your email address will not be published. Name* Email* Website Comment Notify me of follow-up comments by email.
