Google unveiled its futuristic eyewear project Google Glass in early 2013, gaining big buzz in the media for its innovation although not well adopted by the general population. Now, Google Glass might get a stylish makeover as they’ve just teamed up with Italian eyewear distributor Luxottica (maker of popular sunglass models like Ray-Ban, Oakley and Versace) in hopes that creating stylish models of the interactive glasses set might attract consumers.

Oakley and Ray-Ban  will spearhead development of the new Google Glass product, promising to “combine high-end technology with avant-garde design.”
