After holding down his late night show for 22 years, a choked-up Jay Leno bid his show and its fans farewell. 14.6 million viewers tuned in to see the final episode of The Tonight Show, the most finale viewers since Seinfeld in 1998.

Leno’s last episode featured guests like Carol Burnett, Kim Kardashian, Oprah Winfrey, Jim Parsons and Billy Crystal, who was Leno’s first Tonight Show guest.
