Net-A-Porter, “the world’s premier online luxury fashion destination”, made history today. The online portal to inspiration, designer insight and a luxury e-commerce playground launched its high fashion magazine, ‘Porter’. Net-A-Porter has capitalized on the frenzy of NYFW, launching the magazine on February 7th, the same day fashion week kicks off.

This first issue serves up 282 pages of editorial photo spreads and a feature article on actress Uma Thurman. Supermodel, Giselle Bündchen graces the magazine’s cover with piercing baby blue eyes along with the subtitle ‘A Celebration of Incredible Women’.

Keeping true to Net-A-Porter’s luxury based image, the magazine is available on new stands for $9.99 (versus other fashion publications such as Vogue that go for about $4.99 per issue). Porter will go digital on February 14 and readers will be able to peruse the publication and shop simultaneously.
