A quick and easy recipe for French Toast. Feel free to use whatever bread you like—French, Italian, white or wheat.

frenchtoastIngredients (serves 3):

6 thick slices of bread

2 eggs

2/3 cup milk

3/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon and nutmeg (optional)


  • Mix together egg, milk, salt, desired spices and vanilla.
  • Pre-heat a lightly oiled griddle of skillet over medium-high flame.
  • Submerge each slice of bread in egg mixture, soaking both sides. Place in pan, and cook on both sides until golden.


Serve hot with butter, your favorite syrup and/or fresh fruit.
